ROTARY CLUB IKEJA BRINGS FESTIVE CHEER TO LASUTH

The Rotary Club Of Ikeja, District 9111, Held Its Long-standing Tradition By Celebrating Christmas Morning 2024 At The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). This Annual Event Is A Practice Spanning About Three Decades, Featuring Gift Presentations To The Hospital, Patients On Admission, And The Recognition Of Outstanding Staff Who Excelled In Their Duties Throughout The Year.

In His Address, The District Governor, Rotarian Kayode Situ, Commended The Dedication And Resilience Of LASUTH’s Health Workers, Who Continue To Deliver Exceptional Care Despite The Challenges Of The Healthcare Sector. He Expressed His Delight With The Positive Reports He Has Received About The Hospital’s Services, Highlighting LASUTH’s Remarkable Strides In Ensuring Quality Healthcare Delivery.

During A Ward Inspection, Several Units Received Commendations; The Surgical Emergency And Medical Emergency Units Tied For Third Place, While The Female Medical Ward Secured Second Place, And The Female Surgical Ward Emerged As The Best Ward Of The Year.

Awards Were Presented To Exceptional Staff Members For Their Dedication And Hard Work. The Recipients Were, Dr. Olanrewaju Abdulazzez, A Principal Medical Officer Was The Best Doctor Of The Year; Adeola Ariyo, Senior Nursing Officer Was Highlighted As The Best Nurse Of The Year; Abosede Salako, A Chief Clerical Officer Was The Most Valuable Staff Of The Year; Adefolake Dorcas, Medical Laboratory Science Officer Was Awarded The Most Punctual Staff Of The Year; Abidemi Oseni, A Senior Nutrition Officer Was Awarded The Best Senior Staff Of The Year, Olabisi Ogidan, A Tailoring Officer Was The Best Junior Staff Of The Year

The Rotary Club Also Donated Essential Items, Including Drip Stands, Bedsheets, Pillowcases, And Ward Screens, To Enhance The Hospital's facilities.
