LASUTH Marks 7th End Of Year Concert With “Unending Paise”

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), On Monday, 22nd Of  December, 2025, Held Its 7th Annual End‑of‑year Concert, Themed “Unending Paise.” What Began As A Modest Christmas Gathering Under The Leadership Of The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo Has Grown Into A Full‑blown Celebration Where Staff And Management Unite In Praise To Thank God For The Year’s Blessings.

‎ ‎Prof. Fabamwo Praised The Organising Committee For A Flawless Execution And Noted The Enthusiastic Turnout As Proof Of The Hospital’s Love For Worship. He Highlighted LASUTH’s Rapid Growth, Pointing To At Least Seven Ongoing Infrastructure Projects Including The New Eye Hospital, Which Already Resembles A Standalone Teaching Facility. He Thanked Donors, Benefactors, And The Top Management Team, For Their Support Throughout The Year. He Saluted The Director Of Clinical Services And Training, Prof. Adebowale Adekoya, For His Leadership During His Recent Leave, And Prayed For A Smooth Transition For Everyone Into 2026.

‎ ‎The Evening Was Rich In Music And Performances, Such As A Soothing Saxophone Solo And Various Presentations From Different Groups Across The Hospital. Participating Groups Included The LASUTH Association Of Residents Doctors Choir, LASUTH/LASUCOM Choir, A Special Presentation By Barrister Maria Kazeem, The Medical Laboratory Choir, Hospital Administration Choir, The Pills Echoes, Physiotherapy Team, A Special Presentation By The Oyeshikus, The LASUTH School Of Anaesthetic, LASUTH School Of Echocardiography, LASUTH School Of Orthopaedics; Nurses Nightingale Choir, LASUTH Transit Lodge Choir, LASUTH Caregiver Academy Choir, LASUTH School Of Post Graduate Diploma In Hospital Administration And Management; LASUTH Youth Forum; LASUTH Medical & Dental Consultant Association Of Nigeria Choir; And The LASUTH Management Choir.

‎ ‎Awards Were Presented To Recognise Outstanding Performances In Song Presentation. The Residents’ Doctors Group Emerged The First, While The LASUTH School Of Orthopaedic Cast Technology Team Came Second. The Nurses Nightingale Choir Of The Nursing Department And The Pharmacy Department Received Third Receiving Prizes Respectively, Alongside Consolation Prizes For All Participating Choirs. ‎

‎The Programme Also Featured A Raffle Draw, During Which Staff Purchased Tickets To Win Various Prizes. Numerous Gifts Were Won By Staff Members Across Different Departments, Adding Excitement And A Festive Touch To The Evening.
